All Scouts should bring a wrapped gift for a gift exchange (limit $20). We will also have our Awards Court of Honor that night. All board of reviews and merit badges to be awarded should be completed turned in to Mrs. Vietzke by Tuesday, December 5th.

Christmas Basket Service Project – December 19

We will be delivering food baskets to four needy families at 4:00 pm on Tuesday December 19 (there is no regular Troop meeting that night). We need Scouts and adult drivers to volunteer to help assemble and deliver the baskets – please sign up with Mr. Richard Ralph (raintekirrigation@gmail.com).  Pizza will be provided for those participating after the deliveries are made.

Religious Emblem Program Offered

Faith Presbyterian will be offering classes beginning in January to enable Scouts to earn the Religious Emblem, taught by the youth leader, Jon Fuschi. This is not only limited to Presbyterians, each religion has its own booklet and the Scout will work with their own religious leaders during the framework of the class offered at FPC. The Scout Law teaches us that a Scout is reverent to God, and this is an important opportunity for our Scouts to grow stronger in their faith. More information will be provided at the December Court of Honor on December 12th. The Religious Emblem award is one of the few that a Scout can continue to wear on their adult uniform.
