On July 11th, Troop 48 will depart for our Nation’s Capital.  In order to make plans, get security clearances and set budgets we need to know who will be going as soon as possible.  An initial deposit of $100 is due on or before February 24th. The total costs are still being determined, but will not be more than $300 per person. In addition, we need personal information so the Secret Service can conduct background checks prior to our visit to The White House.  If you and/or your son is planning to go, please provide the following information in writing (not email) to Mr. Hormberg as soon as possible: First name, middle name, last name, date of Birth, Social Security #, Citizenship, Country of citizenship if other than U.S.A., City/State of residence.

Troop T-shirt Orders

Attached is an order form for Troop 48 t-shirts. Please turn in money and orders to Mrs. Peggy Lux by Tuesday, March 3rd. Mrs. Lux will be available before the Troop meetings for the next couple of weeks to take money and orders, or if you need to check t-shirt sizes. All Scouts will need to wear a Troop t-shirt for the Camporee campout in April, and will need to wear t-shirts each day of Summer Camp. We also have some used t-shirts in smaller sizes available for sale, please see Mrs. Lux if you are interested.

Deposit due March 3rd for Skymont Summer Camp – June 6-13

The second deposit of $75 for Scouts and $30 for adults is due Tuesday, March 3rd for Skymont summer camp. The total cost will be $200 for Scouts and $80 for adults. The Troop is subsidizing $60 per person from the Campership fund toward registration fees, transportation and food costs. The final payment is due April 28.
