May Climbing Trip – May 5-7
Some reminders on the trip:
· Drop off/Pick up times are different than usual: 5:30 pm on Friday night; 3:30 pm on Sunday
· Bring climbing waiver, signed and dated May 6, 2017, to Mr. Hormberg
· Pack light like backpacking: bring 3 quarts of water, long pants to climb in (not Scout pants), camp chair, day pack for gear & water, sunscreen, hat, insect repellant
BBQ Fundraiser
Attached is the order form and information for our BBQ sale fundraiser, led by Mr. Richard Ralph. Please start taking orders now for BBQ ribs and pork roasts, to be picked up on Sunday, July 2nd from 12:00 – 2:00. All orders are due by June 27th, but please email or text Mr. Ralph your orders as you get them, so he can plan appropriately for the grill size. Funds raised from this sale will help subsidize the Troop’s activities, so please sell as much as you can. You do not want to miss out on this great BBQ from Mr. Ralph’s award-winning Serial Grillers BBQ team!
Textile Merit Badge Offering on July 29 – sign up by May 7
If you are interested in participating, please send an e-mail to Mr. Brian Issing and you will be placed on the class roster. (Brian_Issing@hotmail.com) He will reply to your request. The class is limited to 16 Scouts and the deadline to sign up is May 7th. First come; first served.
Summer Break
Just a reminder that there will be no Troop meetings June 13 through July 11. Troop meetings will resume on July 18.
