December Campout - Dec 5-7 – Fee due this Tuesday
The $20 fee for the December 5-7 campout for the Scout-ath-a-lon at Camp Currier is due this Tuesday November 18th (early due to Thanksgiving). Please sign up by the payment deadline. If the payment deadline is missed, the procedure that the Scout must follow to sign up after the deadline is now posted our on Troop website under “Procedures”. Greenery Items for Sale, Expected Delivery this Week
Please see the attached list of greenery items available for sale, and let Gina Eddleman know if you would like to purchase any of these. Greenery is expected to arrive this week, so please watch emails for times to pick it up. Once we find out the exact delivery date, we will need assistance from parents to sort & hand out greenery. The more hands we have, the less time it will take!
Registration Fees for 2015 due by November 30
The annual registration fee for all Scouts is $36 (includes $12 Boys Life) and $24 for all BSA registered adults. Siblings can share one Boys Life subscription. Please pay these fees to Mr. Fred Lee by November 30th. Scout Bucks may be used.
Missing Equipment
The troop is missing two backpacking water filters one of which was last seen on the May 2014 canoe trip on the Upper Current River. The sign-out sheet has been misplaced so we are hoping that someone has seen this: Water Filter - Pur Micro Hiker (Katadyn Microfilter) Please let Dave Parsels know if you have seen it. dp6fan@gmail.com
Thanksgiving Service Project Opportunity
Mr. Brent Snyder will be helping serve a Thanksgiving meal to the homeless on Thanksgiving day. If you are interested in helping as a service project, please contact Mr. Snyder. Please get advanced approval from Mr. Issing if you wish to earn service project hours for Scouting.
Troop Christmas Party Potluck and Awards Court of Honor
Our Troop’s Christmas party and potluck dinner will be December 9th at 6 pm in Faith Hall for our Scouts and families. Sign-up for food will be emailed to everyone. Each Scout will need to bring a wrapped gift for a gift exchange worth $5-$10.
Christmas Baskets Service Project
The Troop will be delivering Christmas baskets to families in need on December 16th. Please let Sheridan Baldwin (Jmbsab2972@yahoo.com) know if you can help deliver baskets on the 16th or help shop for groceries beforehand. Scouts and adult drivers are needed.
