Awards Court of Honor – Tuesday, February 4

All Scouts and their families are invited to attend our Awards Court of Honor next Tuesday at 7 PM in the Chapel. Refreshments will be afterwards in Faith Hall. The first Skymont payment is due - $75 for Scouts and $30 for Adults. Please also bring Spaghetti Supper ticket money to turn in, and any unsold tickets. You can keep tickets until Friday if you are still selling them, but we would like to get most of it turned in Tuesday.

Spaghetti Supper – February 7

Tickets for our 65th annual Spaghetti Supper on Friday, February 7 have been handed out to Scouts, so please sell as many tickets as you can. Tickets are $10 each. For every 8 tickets you sell, you earn 1 free ticket. Please turn in ticket money and any unsold tickets on Tuesday, February 4. You can keep tickets until Friday if you are still selling them, but we would like to get most of it turned in Tuesday.

· All Scouts need to be there on February 7 to work – Scouts should arrive at 4 pm in Class A uniform, they will eat their meal prior to 5 PM, but they do need a ticket to eat.

· We need all parents to help with this event, you can sign up here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30E0E4FADAE28A7FE3-spaghetti1 , or contact Kelley Lee. We will be sending out an email with the jobs everyone has signed up for to confirm.

· We also need each family to bring two desserts on February 7, preferably by 4 pm. Sign up here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30E0E4FADAE28A7FE3-spaghetti2

If you have any questions or need additional tickets, please contact Mrs. Kelley Lee.

Skymont Summer Camp – June 6-13

The first Skymont deposit is due February 4 and is $75 for Scouts and $30 for Adults. The total cost for Skymont this year will be $190 for Scouts and $95 for Adults. These costs are being subsidized by the Troop by $115 per Scout and $65 per Adult, so we encourage everyone to consider attending summer camp to take advantage of this great deal and make some progress on earning merit badges. Please note that any adults attending Skymont need to be registered with Scouts BSA. More information will be provided at the February 4 Court of Honor, and you can check out their website at this link: Skymont

Scout Sunday on February 9

Please make plans for Scouts and their families to attend the church service at Faith Presbyterian on Sunday, February 9 to celebrate Scout Sunday. We will also take the Troop photo that morning at 10 am in the chapel (don’t be late or you won’t be in the photo!), and then attend the contemporary church service after that in Faith Hall. Scouts should wear Class A uniforms.

Swim Check on March 3 – Date Change

Our swim check will be on Tuesday, March 3 at 7:30 PM at the Germantown Athletic Club, instead of on April 21 that was originally listed in our 2020 calendar. Start practicing swimming now to prepare if it has been a while since you have been in the pool.
